A Multitude Of Nokia Smartphones Might Get Face Unlock Feature Very Soon

Here’s a good news Nokia fans! HMD Global continues to surprise you with improvements and feature-rich integration to their favorite Nokia devices. After all, the last time it was reported about such an action, HMD brought in a Pro Camera mode to the Nokia 8, and this time it is rumored to have been implementing the Face Unlock feature in a multitude of Nokia phones. Here are the details on it.

Four Nokia smartphones will get the Face Unlock feature

The Finnish company although promised that all current versions of Nokia smartphones will receive the upcoming Android 9 update once Google makes it available.

Today, HMD Global has announced yet another important feature which is all set to be available that’s not yet available on its smartphones. It will be released with four Nokia devices in the not so distant future, Face Unlock.

For those who are looking at a specific security feature will be pleased to know HMD plans to add it on the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 8, and the all-new Nokia 6.1 handsets.

Face Unlock will be available as an over-the-air (OTA) update on the mentioned Nokia smartphones in the coming weeks or months. If you own one of those four Nokia devices mentioned above, then you’ll have to wait for HMD to release the update, as so no clear release date frame was mentioned, though.
