Samsung has officially made both Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 available for pre-order in the U.S., and Canada during the dedicated Unpacked media event. The South Korean company has also took the opportunity to introduce a rather innovative and unique accessory alongside teasings it’s next gen Gear S2 smartwatch. For the new phablets, this new Keyboard case should go some way to appeal to BlackBerry owners who have thus far refused to move away from the Candian smartphone maker. Introduced Samsung’s Keyboard Cover, especially built purely with the new phones announced todya in mind.
It seems like Samsung has made a research and finally decided to target BB QWERTY keyboard posing owners by giving them a chance to move from their delight. Although, devices currently shipped with physical keyboards. Devices like the iPhone championed the multi-touch virtual keypads that are ever present in most modern devices, but there’s mothing quite like the feel of a mechanical keyboard to provide reassurance and a level of feedback that business consumers crave. The new Galaxy phones now offers that too., and that’s is the most anticipated accessory.
The new Samsung Keyboard Cover is exactly that; a small(ish) case cover that contains a physical keyboard. Accessory that is ultimately designed to slip over the bottom of the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge+ and make a paired connection via Bluetooth. Tha case indeed cover up a portion of the 5.7-inch display, but exactly it isn’t worth it to have this level of familiarity and typing speed introduced to a modern device? Downsides, obviously there and what are they? The Keyboard Cover does provide tangible benefits, it does also introduce additional bulk to the bottom of an already larger device.
Samsung’s Keyboard Cover will also ships with dedicated buttons to replace the home screen and navigational buttons that it replaces. There’s no wording on how much it is priced, and cost that Samsung isplanning to share with you for the Keyboard Cover as yet but it is likely to hit the store shelves of other territories before the United States.
