ACT Fibernet Launches It’s First 1Gbps Broadband Service In Hyderabad, Priced At Rs 5999

ACT Fibernet has made official of its first Gigabit broadband services in Hyderabad, launched 1Gbps at Rs 5999, making it the first Internet Service Provider in the country to launch Gigabit broadband (Giga speeds) for consumers in India. Act Fibernet is although becoming the only services to bring the high speeds at low-cost, and it was launched by Shri. K. Taraka Rama Rao, Minister of IT, Muncipal Administration and Urban Development and Industries (MAUD) of Telangana.

It costs a bit higher per month but naturally, it comes with 1TB FUP after that speed will be throttled to 10Mbps. Installation charges is INR 5000, since 50 to 60 meter of wiring needs to be changed. ACT Fibernet also said that its 1Gbps (one gigabits per second) progression will leapfrog Hyderabad internet speeds to 400x national average, compared to an average speeds in India which is at 2.5Mbps.

Of course, Act Fibernet is the only largest fiber-net broadband provider in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad with over 60% market share. With that said, the company is also expanding its reach of its 1Gbps wired internet service to be available in all the 11 cities which it operates in coming months.
