Smartphones these day are becoming more popular online and after Xiaomi and Motorola, it’s time to Micromax’s Yu Televentures to offer their phones offline in partnership with Reliance Retail. Yu smartphones are now available to buy at offline retail stores as well as continues selling its branded handsets online, though.
Yu Televentures is the Micromax’s subsidiary, launched Yu last year as an online-only brand, will now sell Yuphoria, Yureka Plus, and Yunique handsets across 30,000 retail outlets in India from New Delhi. In partnership with Reliance Retail.
No worry about invites or pre-booking on e-commerce websites like Snapdeal or Flipkart or Amazon. Just walk into Reliance Retail outlets across the country to purchase your desired hardware. Additionally, the handsets aforementioned are also equipped with Voice-Over-LTE (VoLTE). Reliance Retail has recently strengthened its sale and distribution arm to establish a retail network of 1,200 distributors and 150,000 retail outlets that will support the evolving VoLTE & VoWiFi device ecosystem in the country.
The price for the Yu YUHPORIA (Rs 7,499), YUNIQUE (Rs 6499) and Yureka+ for Rs 10,999 respectively. The partnership will ensure that our customers get a touch and feel of the models at the retail point and this partnership is one more step in the direction of putting the consumer first, allow owners to get a first hand experience on the phones before purchasing.
“Yu Televentures has inked a strategic partnership with Reliance Retail with an aim to bring the devices to the customer to have a touch and feel of the models. It is an exclusive retail sales and distribution partnership to enhance the availability of popular voice over LTE (VoLTE) mobile devices across India,” Yu Televentures founder Rahul Sharma told PTI.
