OnePlus 2 Will Indeed Pack 4GB of RAM, Company Confirms

Just yesterday the OnePlus CEO promises OnePlus 2’s price will be under $450 and today another teaser shared new details about the OnePlus 2. According to the company’s forum, the next smartphone will have 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

In order to make OnePlus 2 perform better, the company is banking on the LPDDR4 to bring even faster memory performance, and when compared to the LPDDR3 used in previous generation flagships, the next flagship with LPDDR4 offers twice the memory bandwidth while consuming the same power.

The OnePlus 2 comes running on new version of Android Lollipop based OxygenOS, powered by a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 v2.1 SoC, dual-camera with dual-LED setup, and yes you guess write, the OnePlus 2 will have a fingerprint scanner which is faster than Apple’s TouchID and a USB Type-C connectivity port.
