CEO of Xiaomi Lei Jun has announced on his Weibo page that a new Xiaomi Note gadget will be introduced on 29th of June 2015. Rumored Redmi Note 2. Considering that the Xiaomi Mi Note and Xiaomi Mi Note Pro have just been released, the new device most likely won’t be a sequel to either handset. Apart that no other details on what actually Xiaomi team is planning to release is unknown at the far moment.
Although the Mi Note and Note Pro are the current Note models with Snapdragon 810 chipset, besides that models for both, expected to feature the yet-unreleased Snapdragon 820 SoC under the hood. Well, that is somewaht unbelievable right now, but it could be the Redmi Note 2, seeing the light of day on June 29th.
Allegedly spotted on TENAA (China’s FCC) website previously, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 possibly be the handset to be wrapped off this June ending. Leaked was a device with a 5.5-inch screen featuring a 1080 x 1920 resolution, driven by a 64-bit MediaTek MTK6795 SoC and featuring a 13MP camera on back and a 5MP snapper in front.
“The new generation device will be powered by a 64-bit Mediatek MT6795 Helio X10 octa-core SoC (System on Chip). The device will also sport a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera, and will support multiple networks like TD-LTE/LTE FDD/TD-SCDMA/WCDMA/cdma2000/CDMA 1X/GSM in China.”
