Xiaomi Teases New Redmi, Mi Devices For The Event Scheduled On July 16

With four mysterious pictures teased by Xiaomi at the company;s official Weibo account. Although the Chinese manufacturer holds an event on July 16, where it is almost planning to introduce some new devices, alleged as Redmi Note 2, the Mi flagships Mi 5 and Mi5 Plus, and could also have something in the pipeline. Indeed, the event will happen on 16th of July in China. Xiaomi’s teaser nevertheless means something to you, feel free to speculate in our comments below.

All the pitctures share a ‘PK’ logo, a cryptic picture and a slogan. The first one looks like a smartphone frame means tradition. The second one with three frames says, “The art of craft has reached a whole new level.”

The third image doesn’t show or till much – the text is “Refinement on all sides.” Finally, the forth picture you got to look at like a USB cable with a tiny Mi box on its end. Rumored and tipped at a Mi TV smart-box, while other takes as a sign for a USB Type-C switch.

All the Xiaomi smartphone which yet-to-be-announced have been in the rumor mills for quite a while now. The Redmi Note 2 and the Mi5/Mi 5 Plus. Whereas the Note and Mi4 are due for a big refresh, but if we are to bet on – the Redmi Note 2 needs it more.

Previously leaked specs for Redmi Note 2 suggests to come with a FullHD (1080p) display and run on either Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chip or MediaTeck’s MT7692 with 2GB of RAM. Said to continue with a 16GB storage, a 3020mAh battery package and a metal build.

While the Xiaomi Mi5 and Mi 5 Plus covered with the successors to the Mi Note series. Regular Mi 5 would have a 5.2-inch QHD screen, Snapdragon 810 chipset, a 16MP rear and a 13MP front-facing selfie-focused camera, plus acked up by a 3000mAh unit.

The bigger sized Xiaomi Mi5 Plus to have a 5.7-inch Quad-HD display, Qualcomm S820 SoC, a 23MP OIS main camera and a 12MP front-facing snapper, plus adds a 3500mAh battery. If we are not rumored, then Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is imminent at the event on July 16, where the older version of its predecessor is already 16-months older and obviously need a refresh.

Other speculations also there pointing the teasers, hinting at a new Xiaomi Mi TV and a brand new smart-TV set-top box. Three more days to go live!
