YU’s Yuphoria Drop Test Tackles Its Stability, Fit To Launch On May 12

The Yu YUPHORIA is all set to go exclusive on May 12 as it will hit the store shelves of Amazon.in and recently its has shown all its software and hardware key features, as it is a Cyanogen OS 12 powered smartphone, coming with the latest version of Android 5.0 Lollipop on-board. Other specs were also slated but wasn’t clear as of now. Ahead of its launch, Yu had announced that the company Chief Rahul Sharma will be revealing a Yuphoria reated news. As promised, he has joined Twitter yesterday, uploaded a drop test video of new Yuphoria smartphone – showcasing how sturdiness it got with the next generation flagship. Video was been taken from a smartphone that shows a man accidentally drops the Yuphoria on a tiled floor while trying to take a rather awkward selfie. Juts after the impact, the phone gets away unscathed wile the tile cracks up a bit. Great!

Now Yuphoria is all set to launch in India on May 12. With a more squarish design when compared to its predecessor, this new comer comes boasting the Yu branding stocked on its front. Connected to LTE, the smartphone runs Android Lollipop-based Cyanogen OS 12.

Specifications wise, the Yu Yuphoria is tipped to feature a 64-bit CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a 16MP camera and all in all it gets skinning options, which the company asked its fans and invited designers to create themes for Yuphoria and build content for the smartphone.
