The newly released iPhone 7 range have been bought by millions of people, and the second part of that flood the web with a new round of complaints. First in the case with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus issues started with a hissing sound when in the work and another one is somewhat annoying, no service problem and many others.
3.5mm Headphone Jack
The decision of Apple get rid of the 3.5mm headphone jack made many people complaining about. You can still use any pair of headphones with a 3.5mm plug. Since Apple included an adapter in the retail box, but people are still upset though, and some other complaints are valid. Especially, people can no longer charge their phones while wired headphones connected…unless they want to buy a ridiculous adapter.
New Home Button
Not everyone love the new 3D Touch home button though, and it won’t work when you’re wearing gloves – not even touchscreen-friendly gloves. Jet Black Models
Alongside other color options, Apple has also introduced an all-new Jet Black version, which is awesome but people around the world are complaining that it’s impossible to find. Those who managed to get their hands on a Jet Black iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus, have confirmed early reports that the finish is very poor to stuffs and scratching. Somewhat, it is a magnet for greace and grim, and Apple although given the fact that it is not a scratch-proof variant. If decided to buy a Jet Black iPhone, you should absolutely plan on putting it in a case.
New Unlock Behavior
With the release of iOS 10 to the public, people recognized that there’s a new veracity of unlocking solution, which people don’t like having to press the home button to unlock their iPhones instead of just touching the Home button and letting Touch ID work its magic. While iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus come pre-installed iOS 10 officially. Luckily, still there’s a function of iOS that you can use to adjust settings if you prefer the touch-to-unlock behavior.
No Service Bug
Users in many have found that after enabling and disabling Airplane mode on their iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, they see a “no service” message in the upper left corner of the screen and are no longer able to connect to cellular network or not able to access Internet services as well. Apple has acknowledged this issue and is working on a fix. If you have faced this issue, simply power the phone off, remove the SIM, reinsert it and turn the phone back on. Admitted already that tons of complaints around the web from people complaining about the battery life on their new iPhone 7 models, which was worse than their comparable iPhone 6s model. Latter it has been fixed.
There’s no available fix for this issue. iPhone 7 units emit a barely audible hissing sound while in use. You can hear it if you place the Apple logo on the back of the phone to your ear and scroll down any screen. The sound was not that loud and annoying, and only audible at a reasonable distance, some users report that the hissing actually is much louder when the phone is under a heavy load.
EraPods control malfunctions
Complained by many about the volume controls and action button on the Lightning EarPods stop working after a few minutes of being plugged in. Unplugging them and plugging back in seems to resolve the problem, only temporarily. Good news is that Apple is working on this issue and says a software fix is coming in an iOS 10.1 update.
