Motorola in a thrive pushing out its software update for its first and second generation Moto smartphones in urgency, and just after confirming the roll out of latest Android 5.0 update for its new Moto X (Gen 2) in India, has also been treated to the newer version of Android 5.0.1 Lollipop for Moto G as well. Limited owners of the first and second-generation Moto G owners have received the 5.0.1 update so far but it does seem to be rolling out now. Either way, if it’s not available for you currently, it should hits your Moto G (2nd Gen) and 1st-Generation in the next few things.

Android 5.0.1 update was actually released recently and mostly features bug fixes without any major inclusions.
