Android 5.1 Lollipop Based Oxygen OS Will Launch Running On OnePlus 2

The OnePlus Two, successor to the OnePlus One smartphone is reportedly set to debut very soon and with the release of Oxygen OS based on Android Lollipop has just been made official, as it will be coming running on OnePlus 2. Details on this report can be found right after this fold.

It was revealed in OnePlus forums, but there’s still no mention about their own OxygenOS which is based on the latest version of Google’s mobile OS – Android 5.1 Lollipop will foremost make its way to the unannounced OnePlus Two. Nevertheless, also said to be rolling out CyanogenMod 12S based on 5.1 Lollipop for OnePlus One devices.

Tipped that OnePlus team is also working on some fixes regarding the touchscreen issues that users were facing for a long while now on both the Cyanogen OS 12S and the Oxygen OSes running on One smartphone. Users of the OPO phone will indeed get an Oxygen OS build running on 5.1 Lollipop, but will be receiving the update just after OnePlus Two launch date.

The OnePlus company also promises to increase the pace of the updates that will be released for the OnePlau Two. And does promises to roll out some fixes for the touchscreen hassle before the release of OP Two.
