A new teaser outed by Asus confirms the launch of ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Max imminent at this year’s ComputerX event, which will held on May 30. To make this official at its grand keynote on that given date, the first teaser has been released in a video that just barely shows up the profiles of the three smartphones under ZenFone 3 series.
This time again, you can clearly see it’s three different devices though, the differences between the two ZenFone 3 and ZenFone 3 Deluxe are much subtle than when compared to the ones bigger ZenFone 3 Max. The teaser video highlights the text for the phones as “Clarity,” ‘Desire,’ and ‘Ultimate’. Leaked several times onto the web, the ZenFone 3 is said to feature a 2.5D glass on both the sides of the handset and will use a thin aluminum design.
To catch it up, as per the renders the ZenFone 3 has a square rear camera module on its back with a dual-tone LED flash and supports Laser Auto-Focus sensor. Expected that this variant would come equipped with a biomatric scanner. Asus promises we will “witness evolution becomes revolution“, as the “Zenvolution is coming“.
The Asus ZenFone 3 may also be available to purchase in Gold, Silver and Black colors, and the ZenFone Deluxe sports a full metal design and features a physical Home button with a fingerprint sensor built-in.
According to the company’s CEO, all the three smartphones will be shipped into stores by June, and Asus expects the ZenFone Max to be one of its best selling product of the group with about two thirds of deliveries. As 90-percent of the ZenFone 3 units will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets, and 10-percent of which go with MediaTek. It seems like another time history repeats.
