Global Variant Of Lenovo Lemon 3 With 5-Inch 1080p Display, Metal Body To Be Unveiled At MWC 2016

Lenovo at this year’s Mobile World Congess is expected to introduce a new set of smartphone range in Barcelona just in a week. Before that release, we have got a glimpse of what would be the device name, and an image leaked suggesting that it is the international model of Lenovo Lemon 3 smartphone. Actually it was released in China last month, that is expected to go on sale with a different name, announced for the global market, including India.

Specifications-wise, the global Lemon 3 variant should have a 5-ich Full HD display with a resolution counts of 1920 x 1080 pixels IPS screen and have 450 nits brightness. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 616 (4 x 1.2 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.5 GHz Cortex A53) processor and comes with Adreno 405 GPU for better graphic effects.

On the other hand, the global Lemon 3 variant is paired with 2GB of RAM, offers 16GB of internal storage and expandable via 128GB microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and by mean it has a Dual SIM functionality and supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS connectivity options and have been equipped with a 2750mAh battery.

What about photography sensors? Of course, the Lemon 3 sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and capable of recording full HD (1080p) videos. Secondary camera on its front comes with a 5MP sensor and no LED flash. Will be available in Gold and Silver colors.

In China, Lenovo Lemon 3 was launched at 699 Yuan (US$ 107 / INR 7,290 approx.), so it could be launched in other markets at a similar price range at MWC 2016.
