Google has uploaded Android 5.1.1 Lollipop Factory images for the Nexus 7 (2013 WiFi), Nexus 7 WiFi (2012 and Nexus 10 smartphones, just after releasing factory images for the Nexus Player. The new firmware update carries mostly minor bug fixes and system-wide improvements. Details on what’s new in Android 5.1.1 for Nexus phones and tablets can be checked right after this fold.
The factory images will allow owners of the aforementioned devices to snag the new version of Lollipop with build number LMY47V. Android 5.1.1 is now available to download for the Wi-Fi editions of the Nexus 7 (2013) as well as the 2012 version of Nexus 7 WiFi, and Nexus 10 WiFi model. All the three handsets gets firmware with the same build number.
You can start downloading the factory images now in preparation for flashing your Wifi only (2013/2012) Nexus 7 tablet or a Nexus 10, this even received 13.9 MB Android 5.1.1 over-the-air (OTA) update.
