It was in May 2015 when Oppo R7 Plus with 32GB built-in storage and 3GB of RAM memory was launched at Rs 29,990 in India in September. Now that the Chinese manufacturer has introduced the same version but with upgraded hardware specs.
The successor to the Oppo R7 Plus smartphone now equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage and launched. Other specifications on the handset is similar to what the older version carries, which includes a 6-inch (1080 x 1920px) Full HD AMOLED display with 2.5D Arc Edge screen, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 1.5GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) processor with Adreno 405 GPU, expandable microSD card slot, ColorOS 2.1 based Android 5.1 Lollipop on board.
Camera-wise, the new Oppo R7 Plus also carries the same 13MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, laser auto focus, Sony IMX214 sensor, f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megpaixel front shooter with f/2.4 aperture. It has a metal body and a fingerprint sensor on the back. It also comes in China Unicom variant with a MediaTek MT6795 Octa-Core SoC.
Connectivity options include a Dual SIM card slot, supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB OTG and the whole device is backed up by a 4100mAh battery package with VOOC Rapid Charge. It comes in Golden colors and is priced at 2999 Yuan (US$483 / Rs. 30,810 approx.) for the China Unicom variant and 3299 Yuan (US$483 / Rs. 30,810 approx.) for the international variant.
