Huawei has made the 7.6mm thin Enjoy 5S available to the world of slimmer smartphone market in its home town and by introducing its next Enjoy 5 series variant, the Chinese manufacturer has equipped its innards with high-end specs. Now that it has been official, we have to look at what Huawei Enjoy 5S hardware brings with it to experience and compete with other top-end handests in the marketplace.
The device is although listed on the company’s official online store vMall. The successor to the Enjoy 5 smartphone is powered by a MediaTek MT7653T chipset with an Octa-Core 1.5GHz processor. It features a 5-inch 720×1280 pixel IPS display and paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with expandable microSD card support.
In fact the Enjoy 5S sports a 13-MegaPixel rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, BSI sensor and houses a 5MP selfie-centric shooter on its front with 28mm lens. It also have an Hybrid Dual SIM functionality that let user place an SD card in place of secondary SIM. Yes, it is supported by 4G LTE connectivity bands and offers 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.
The Huawei Enjoy 5S runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based EMUI 3.1 Lite UI and weighs in at 135g and measures 143.5 x 71 x 7.6mm and the main point we missed is the Fingerprint sensor at the back and it has got a slim metal unibody design. Available to buy in Silver and Golden colors.
Starting December 10, Huawei Enjoy 5S will go on sale in China. Pre-order it by making a RMB 99 ($15) deposit. Officially priced at RMB 1,199 ($187). No word given on global roll out.
