Pre-order: Huawei Honor 7i Goes Official With 13MP Flip Camera, 5.2″ FHD Display, Snapdragon 616 SoC

The Huawei Honor 7i is the upgraded variant of the Honor 7 and that too brings with it all new official features that any other Honor series got earlier. As it was promised by the Chinese manufacturer, has announced Honor 71. Specifications and pricing can be checked right after this jump.

The Honor 7i comes with a fresh 5.5-inch Full HD (1920x1080px) screen with narrow bazels, multi-touch display, 1500:1 contast ratio. Under the hood, the smartphone from Huawei ruins on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Emotion UI 3.1 skin on top, and powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 616 chipset (4x 1.5GHz + 4x 1.2GHz) with Adreno 405 GPU for better graphics. Available in 2GB (16GB) / 3GB RAM carries 32GB internal memory, that too with an expandable microSD card support up to 32GB.

The handset is special and that features a fingerprint sensor that is present on the side of the smartphone, unlike the Huawei Honor 7 smartphone, which has a sensor on its back area. It can evidently unlock the phone when your finger is wet and can also learn automatically based on your usage. Fingerprint sensor on Honor 7i can be used as a camera shutter for capturing your best Selfie shots.

The smartphone has a metal frame and is just 7.8mm thick, and the Dual SIM Honor 7i supports 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS connectivity options. Photography on the handset is a bit extraordinary and whay is that? Because the Honor 7i camera sports a 13-Megapixel 180-degree rotating Sony sensor with dual-tone LED flash capable of 28mm wide-angle lens, sapp[hire crystal protection and F2.0 aperture. And the front-facing is missing, but you can use the 13MP Flip camera on its rear as a Selfie sensor. It packs a 3100mAh battery on board for best power saving alternative features.

Goes on sale in White and Gol color options, the Huawei Honor 7i 2GB RAM (16GB) variant is priced at 1599 Yuan (US$ 250 / Rs. 16,375) for China Mobile. For China Unicom and China Telecom it is priced at 1699 Yuan (US$ 265 / Rs. 17,400).

The 3GB Honor 7i with 32GB ROM costs 1899 Yuan (US$ 297 / Rs. 19,440 approx) and applicable for all Chinese carriers. Pre-orders for the Huawei Honor 7i begins in China, and the company officially didn’t revealed any details regarding its global iteration as yet.
