Meet i-mobile IQ II: Google Brings Android One To Thailand, Finally Hits The Store Shelves

Google has expanded its reach of Android One powered smartphone into Thailand. Now up for grabs in the country as part of Wave 2 of Android One program, and the first was the Lava Pixel V1 and this comes as the next smartphone in this line. Adds to the list of already official in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Philippines, Turkey, Myanmar and Pakistan.

The dual SIM iQ II features a 5-inch HD (1280x720px) resolution display, is powered by a 64-bit Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) chipset with 1.2GHz CPU, Adreno 306 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and expandable via microSD card slot up to 32GB. Google has partnered with i-mobile to launch the i-mobile IQ II smartphone with 4G LTE support in the country.

It also sports a 8-megapixel rear camera with BSI sensor, LED flash, a 2MP selfie snapper and packs a 2500mAh battery and obviously runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. Software updates will come directly from search giant for the next two days. Supports 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS.

Available to purchase in Black and White colors, the i-mobile IQ II is priced at THB 4,444 (around $126 or €116). Goes on sale online and retail stores across Thailand.
