Two new Iris Atom series phones has been introduced by Lava Mobiles into the market of India. The Iris Atom comes with a 4-inch WVGA display and the second Iris Atom 3 sports a 5-inch FWVGA screen and the CPU on both the handsets are powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and software they run on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.
Only difference would be on both the Iris Atom and Iris Atom 3 is the screen resolution and while the camera is equipped with 5MP rear sensor and LED flash, and the Iris Atom has a VGA front-facing snapper and Iris Atom 3 flaunts 2MP front cam. The two new Lava Iris Atom handsets are paired with 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage and expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
Connectivity options you will find on both the mobiles are dual SIM card slots and supports 3G network, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS. The Iris Atom 3 packs a 2000mAh battery and the Iris Atom only backed by a 1550mAh unit. Support smart gesture controls that allow you to launch applications (W- browser, M-music, V-video player, Z-radio) directly from locked screen. Users can simply swipe their fingers to change tracks or play a song.
Available in Black and White colors. The ‘Flash On call’ feature alerts users with LED flashes every time there is an incoming call, even in silent mode.
The Lava Iris Atom is priced at Rs. 4249 and the Atom 3 phone goes on sale for Rs. 4899 across all national retail stores, multi-branded outlets and online portals in India.
