LG G5 Android 7.0 Nougat Update Now Available For Download In Korea, Soon To Roll Out In The US, Asia And Other Markets

LG’s Android 7.0 Nougat Preview Program for G5 users in Korea on LG U+ network was offered back in August. Today the company has announced that it has released Nougat update for all LG G5 users in its country. The South Korean company has also mentioned that the G5 Android Nougat update has been fixed several bugs based on customers’ feedback as well, and rolling out to all 2000 users who took part and others too.


Interested ones with LG V20 smartphone, which was the first hardware to come running Android Nougat pre-loaded and this time, it hits the LG G5 sets to experience the real mobile OS.

Here’s what LG said:

Android 7.0 Nougat offers a range of new features designed to enhance the user experience and deliver more speed and convenience to G5 owners“.

New in Apps feature helps you search inside user-installed apps, alongside built-in apps using. New Multi-window allows users to switch between apps with a double tap or can also run two apps side-by-side.

Also said that users of LG G5 in the United States, Asia and other regions worldwide will finally get the Nougat 7.0 update in weeks.
