Selfie: LG Max Goes Official As Budget Android Smartphone In India, Priced At $172

LG has launched a new affordable device into the market. The LG Max in India becomes one of the first few markets to get it before Europe and CIS nations. The Korean Electronics has made this available just after launching its L Bello successor in India earlier this week as Bello II. As promised, finally made its word by debuting LG Max for the Indian market live.

Specs-wise, the LG Max features a 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display, is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. Camera of 8MP on its back with LED flash and also housing a 5MP Selfie-centric cam on its front. It is paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage with expandable microSD card support (up to 32GB), the smartphone also comes with a Dual SIM. Support 3G (HSPA+ 21Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and it packs a 2540mAh battery.

Interestingly, the LG Max has Gesture Shot, which lets users to snap selfies without pressing any buttons, rather by simply opening and closing a hand in front of the camera sensor. It also has a Selfie Flash that turns the phone’s screen into a soft flash and the back cover has grovved circular pattern, which also offers better grip and texture to the phone.

The LG Max is priced at Rs 10,990 ($172) in India. Available to buy in White, Titan and Gold color options.
