A new budget smartphone has been listed on the company’s website, called Micromax Canvas Fire 3 (A096). Just after launching its first 4G LTE-enabled Canvas Knight 2, Micromax seems to be fire-ing up another handset unveil. Officially, it is not yet made, but the Canvas Fire 3 is now found on the website, which will also be sold through online website with a price tag of INR 6499.
It features a 4.5-inch qHD display with 540 x 960 pixel resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Canvas Fire 3 is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor, coupled with only 1GB of RAM where the competition goes with 2GB of memory and at the same time offers 8GB of internal storage versus 16GB on the other hand, but nevertheless, it has the support for expanding its on board storage space via microSD card up to 32GB.
Photography wise, the Canvas Fire 3 sports a 5-megapixel rear autoficus camera with LED flash, and houses a 2MP cam as its front-facing sensor. The device runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box and its a dual-SIM phone offers 3G connectivity, and WiFi, Bluetooth usual options.
Battery package which Micromax used on the Canvas Fire 3 is the 1850mAh unit, which is rated to deliver up to 7 hours of talk time, and up to 180 hours of standby time. Comparison with Redmi 2 and Yu Yuphoria can be considered at this price tag.
The highlight of the smartphone is that the Canvas Fire 3 packs dual front speakers and notable feature is that it fluants a metallic finish and have sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. Finally, it comes preloaded with M! Live, M! Games, Opera , Swift key, Hike, Clean Master, Games Club, M! Insurance, M! Security, Snapdeal, Truecaller, and Reverie apps.
