The two new Moto model numbers are XT1578 and XT1097, which Motorola is working on and are packed with quad-HD (QHD) display (2560×1440) pixels screen. Currently, both the Motorola devices are being tested under the Verizon Wireless network in the U.S.. More details on the news can be checked right after ths fold.
The first device with XT1578 (Verizon) model number and XT1097 (Retus) is codenamed Clark and apparently, Motorola is recycling the models of old phone numbers such as the Moto X (2nd Gen) to keep the details safe from leaking into the wild. Specifications of the new Clark model has a 5.25-inch qHD display and will be powered by the Hexa-Core Snapdragon 808 CPU with a pixel density of 560ppi.
Second one with the model number XT1585 (Verizon) codenamed Kinzie, which also points to the similar display equation of QHD resolution, but gets a smaller screen size of 4.6-inch at a pixel density of 640ppi (pixels per inch). With such pixel density, the XT1585 Kinzie wll be the first Android smartphone till now. Under the hood, it will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 64-bit Octa-Core SoC.
Obviously, both the Motorola’s yet-unannounced devices shows running on Android 5.1.1 Lolipop during testing. Apart this, no other details or images leaked out regrading the two new devices with QHD screens. Stay tuned!
