3rd-Generation Moto G (XT1550) Imported Into India For Testing – Confirms 2GB RAM, Water Resistant

The Motorola Moto G 2015 version alongside Moto X (3rd Gen) is expected to go on sale in India starting July 28th. Rumored that both the Moto handsets coming with refreshed and improved hardware and software aesthetics. Already in the the mill of speculations and recently showed up its specifications in a set of leaked bundle. Now that the Moto G (3rd Gen) with XT1550 number has been imported into India for testing purposes. Details can be checked right here after this jump.

The listing on Zauba however shows 95 units each of the Black as well as White models, which are being imported into Bangalore from Hong Kong for testing. Two other pieces have also been imported for testing seperately, which were from China into India. Confirming that the phone will pose a 5-inch screen, 2GB of RAM and including an 8GB of internal storage (ROM).

This leaked info comes directly from the MobileSyrup, spotted a dummy 3rd-Gen Moto G (2015) that shows up various features, specifications on the front. It’s predecessor versions having water resistant caoting, and with the next Moto G variant, we can see the IPX7 water resistant as well.

Other specs we have digged so far includes the support for 4G LTE, microSD card slot and will be powered by a quad-core CPU and a 2470mAh battery. Camera on its back with 13MP dual LED flash and houses a 5MP front-facing sensor. Finally, the Moto G (3rd Gen) runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.
