Successor to the last year’s Panasonic P55 made its way into the smartphone market with an upgraded hardware and software aesthetics from its P segment. In November, Panasonic introduced P55 smartphone and was priced at Rs 10290. Now that the manufacturer has launched P55 Nova in to the same market. The Panasonic P55 Nova features a 5.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, is powered by a 1.4GHz Octao-Core processor and similar to other phones in Panasonic, it runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat out of the box.
Highlight on this P55 Nova would be its camera sensor on its back comes with an 13MP autofocus shooter with triple LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for capturing better selfies in low-light.
The Dual-SIM smartphone comes with support for 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, FM radio, Micro-USB, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS. It packs a 2500mAh battery, coupled with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone includes 8GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
Measuring 147.9×73.8×8.15mm, the P55 Nova phone features Tap Play, which allows users to wake up the smartphone without pressing the physical power button, and Gesture Play, which allows launching of apps via gestures. With Peel Smart Remote app that lets you control TV, DVD Player, AC and other appliances using IR LED sensor and also bring with it Double Tap to Lock/Unlock and Smart Swipe, were as the combination of number of fingers & direction of swipe can help user better perform various predefined functionalities.
Priced at Rs 9,290. The Panasonic P55 Nova will be available to buy in Champagne Gold, Smoke Gray and Midnight Blue color models. Goes on sale in from the first week of July.
