PepsiCo was said in the past that its making a phone, called the Pepsi P1. After several leaks, the Sugary-drink dealer has officially introduced its first smartphone, the Pepsi Phone P1s in China.
Priced at $110. The Pepsi P1s phone brings with it a 5.5-inch fullHD display covered with 2.5D curved glass at a 1080p resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor with Mali 450-MP4 GPU.
The Phone P1s is coupled with 2GB of RAM, includes 16GB of internal storage and has expandable microSD card slot. Software it runs on dibo OS 6.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. With Hybrid Dual SIM (nano), the smartphone’s secondary SIM slot can be used as SDcard storage.
The Pepsi Phone P1s has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and equipped with fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 3000mAh battery. It support 4G LTE connectivity options, offering 3G, WiFi 802.1 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. The standard version of the phone is called P1 and the China Unicom version with FDD-LTE support is called Pepsi Phone P1s.

Available to pre-order via crowdfunding campaign on jd.com. The Pepsi Phone P1s goes on sale in Blue, Gold and Silver colours. Early bird offer of 499 Yuan is out of stock, sold out, but you can still order one at 699 Yuan (US$ 110) – limited to 1000 customers. It also comes with protective case cover, USB cable and a charger.
