The Romanian-based company calls itself Allview, most popular in rebranding Gionee devices and offers then on its home market, as well as some neigboring regions. Same happened with the Gionee’s just made official, Gionee Elife E8. Allview X2 Xtreme is the makeover of the oft-mentioned smartphone and said to be the upcoming one from the Romanian variant. Speaking about the hardware specs are concerned, the Allview X2 Xtreme packs a 6-inch quad-HD display with a 2560×1440 pixels resolution screen. While the device is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6795 chipset clocked at 2GHz Octa-Core CPU paired with IMG G620 GPU. RAM memory is set at 3 gigs and 32GB of onboard storage, which is further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card support.
Photography part is led by the same 24MP primary camera with the capability of 4K resolution video recording and houses an 8MP front-facing selfie-focused camera to capture HD quality selfie shots. The Allview X2 Xtreme also flaunts a fingerprint sensor and it integrated at the back of the device.
The all new rebranded Allview Elife E8 measures measures 164 x 82.3 x 9.6mm and comes with Android Lollipop 5.1 pre-installed, while it is backed by 3500mAh battery. Go on sale in Romania on August 15.
The Allview X2 Xtreme will start selling at an asking price for $550. We can expect the original Gionee Elife E8 available before it in China.
