Just a week after the rugged version of Samsung Galaxy S6 announced, called Galaxy S6 Active is now gone up on sale through AT&T. Offering it in Grey, Camo Blue and Camo White color options. Looks like the device is crammed into a OtterBox case, but it doesn’t fix with it, rather iterated with a rugged-case covered style S6 Active legitimately.
The Galaxy S6 Active’s specs are similar to what its slimmer sibling has. You will find a 5.1-inch Quad HD ( 2560×1440) Super AMOLED display that touts a whopping 577 PPI. Activated with the same Samsung’s Exynos 7420 chipset inside with 64-bit octa-core processor. Camera with 16MP on its back and a 5MP on its front-facing.
Its a refreshed version of S6, when we talk about the battery package. The Galaxy S6 Active updated with 3500mAh power unit with “Active Zone,” and runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box. It comes with IP68 and Mil-STD-810G-certified protection, which means that you can submerge it to up to 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes and is a complete dust-proof device as well.
Pricing for the Galaxy S6 Active on AT&T will set you back at $200 on a regular 2-year contract or a whole $695 without such agreement, unlocked. Available for $23.17 per month on AT&T Next 24 plan, $28.96 a month on Next 18, and $34.75 a month on Next 12, which depends on your payment style and AT&T Next.
