Second Generation Moto X (2014) Receives Android Marshmallow Certification

With the Motorola’s confirmation regarding its Moto devices will be be getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow update next week, now that it has been classified that the 2014 Moto X (2nd Gen) is also added into the list and certified to receive the Android 6.0 update very soon.

First to get Android Marshmallow update would be the Nexus devices which adds to the list of Nexus 6, and officially be out of the box running the version 6.0 Marshmallow are the newly launched LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P. For 2014’s Moto X Marshmallow update has been certified by the WiFi alliance, which is an imminent sign of an OTA update is coming.

The Android 6.0 Moto X Marshmallow update certificate evidently revealed that it will be getting an update, may be next week, which is still in final stages of testing. Good news for both the Motorola Moto device owners as well as Nexus 6 customers.
