Two new budget smartphones launched, Videocon Infinium Z40Q Star and Infinium Z50Q Star in India. Availability details aren’t official yet, but expected that the company will announce it in the coming days.
The Videocom Infinium Z40Q Star comes with a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display and runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It’s a dual-SIM smartphone, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and paired with 512MB of RAM. It includes a 4GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. Boasting with a 5-megapixel autofucus rear camera, the smartphone also houses a 0.3MP VGA front-facing snapper and is backed by a 1500mAh battery.

The Videocon Infinium Z50Q Star goes with the same 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, but coupled with 1GB of RAM and the display its features with a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854px) IPS screen. Storage space it got the same as Z40Q Star, a 4 GB and microSD card slot. Camera also the same on its back and rear 5MP / 0.3MP. The smartphone packs a 2000mAh battery.
Connectivity options on the phone supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G, and Micro-USB and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. Available to buy in White, Red and Blue colors.
The Infinium Z40Q Star is priced at Rs. 4,499 and the Videocon Infinium Z50Q Star costs Rs. 5,999, respectively in the Indian market.
