We are talking about the 4.75mm thick Vivo X5 Max which being certified in China a couple of days ago and now its looking to see the sunlight pretty soon. Reportedly, its been arguably the world’s slimmest smartphone and slimmer than the already thinner Gionee’s S5.1 and Oppo R5. Vivo X5 Max is scheduled to debut in India in the upcoming date of Dec. 15.
The handset however will not be thriving on the specs despite the razor thin frame and when going with the certification info, its not yet confirmed, that the Android 4.4 KitKat powered smartphone could be as slim as a 3.75mm without the camera set up.
Specs for the Vivo X5 Max goes with a 5.5 inch Full HD display. Powering it will be a 1.7Ghz octa core Mediatek processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Includes a 16GB of onboard storage which can further expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). Camera front, its gonna be integrated with a 13MP primary camera and also comes with a selfie-centric 5 MP front snapper.
Connectivity of the yet-unannounced Vivo 5X Max will support 4G TD-LTE, TD-SCDMA connectivity and dual SIM cards with dual standby functionality.
Engineers built this X5 Max smartphone by shifting 90% of the internal components to the sides of the Vivo screen, in fact in a slimmer profile but eventually might get the thicker bezels though. To see all the software and hardware specs of the Vivo X5 Max, we have to wait for the official announcement on 15th of December 2014. Stay tuned!
