As promised at the launch event of Vivo X6 and X6Plus flaghsip smartphones, the Chinese manufacturer has introduced a budget-friendly hardware for the customers. Both the 5.2 inch and 5.7 inch handsets had quite a lot to offer, came with full metal body and Super AMOLED displays and also grabbed the hype from the Y51 and Y51L models, which also unveiled at the venue as well.
The Vivo Y51, which is now listed on its own page on vivo’s official website, allowing you all to take a better look at the affordable device with detailed renders and a full spec sheet as well. It comes with a 5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) IPS display, is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor with Adreno 306 GPU, paired with a 2GB of RAM, includes 16GB of internal storage and expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
It is a dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with vivo’s Funtouch OS 2.5 UI skin on top. It supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS connectivity options and is backed by a 2350mAh battery. It has a 7.52mm slim metal body frame and what’s touching is that this gadget has a mirror finish on its back.
The Y51 measures 143.8×71.7×7.52mm and weighs in at 157g and the rear camera it is equipped with a 8MP sensor with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture and the front with a 5MP F/2.4 aperture selfie-centric snapper.
