Xiaomi MIUI 7.1 Global Stable ROM Build Begins Rolling Out For Redmi And Mi Phones

It was yesterday the January 5, 2016 when it received MIUI 7 v5.12.24 developer beta and we posted it for all eligible Xiaomi devices, and followed by that update on the same day, the Chinese company has also announced that it will be start rolling out the global stable build of its MIUI 7.1, which is the company’s custom ROM based on Android Lollipop.

MIUI 7.1 rollout arrives after two months later since the 7 global stable build was actually released by Xiaomi. As per the manufacturer, the MIUI 7.1 will be supporting devices such as on Xiaomi Mi3, Mi 4, Mi Note, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi 2, Prime, Redmi 1S, Note Prime, Note 2, Note 3G and Mi Pad and Mi Pad 2.

The global stable MIUI 7.1 build carries ROM v7.1.2.0.LXAMICK and released for the Mi2 and Mi 2S and can be downloaded from the MIUI forum thread. For the complete changelog and links to download MIUI 7.1 will be posted here very soon.

Although the MIUI 7.1 China stable ROM for Chinese community will start rolling out from today itself. To recall, highlights of the version includes default MIUI Themes in “Rose, Pink Plush, Ocean Breeze, and High Life”. Best themes that have a complete game with new and top on the lock screen; a daily lock screen inclusion that changes the lock screen wallpaper everyday; a new copyroghted images exclusively for MIUI; up to 30% better response time than its previus MIUI 6 version; a reduction in overall modern power consumption and brings with it background restrictions apps to save up to 10-percent battery life; a XXL font size; a Baby album feature that recognises baby faces and creates their own albums; a new Child mode in MIUI 7 allows users to choose apps accessible to child and also to add passwords, and of couse a mute notifications feature is also added to the featues list.
