ZTE Phones: Grand X3 With USB Type-C, 4G LTE Announced, Side By Avid Plus 3G Handset

Two new ZTE smartphones has been announced by the company, the Grand X3 and Avid Plus for the U.S. Carriers at the CES 2016. One with LTE bands support and the other one only has 3G connectivity option. Now that we are here to decsribe the details on what the Grand X3 and Avid Plus specifications go by, below.

Regarding the ZTE Grand X3 features, it has a 5.5-inch HD capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor running the Qualcomm Snapdragon chip and coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, the ZTE phone also holds an expandable microSD card slot (up to 64GB).

As it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, the smartphone called Grand X3 sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP on its front. With a 3.5mm audio jack, you can listen to your favorite music with Dobly Audio technology and it supports 4G bands of LTE with VoLTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, USB-C and is backed by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.


Priced at $129.99 and will head to Cricket Wireless in the United States.

Now that about ZTE Avid Plus carries a 5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by a 1.1 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor with Adreno 304 GPU. Only has 1GB of RAM on its memory setup and 8GB of built-in storage, but has supprt for expandable SD card up to 64GB as a whole. Camera sensor of 5MP on its back and the same 2-megapixel on the front-side, the phone from ZTE is a budget Android smartphone compatible to support 3G HSPA+, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth and it packs a 2300mAh battery.


You can make a purchase of it via T-Mobile starting on January 20 and MetroPCs later on for $114.99 respectively.
