Apple has announced that it will be hosting a live question and answer live event for HomePod users in its Support Communities on Wednesday, July 25, which will be based around its digital assistant and smart speaker. HomePod owners or someone who is considering making a purchase can ask Apple support representatives questions about the Siri-based speaker (HomePod).
Specialists will all be available between 11:00 and 15:00 pacific time, answering questions about any HomePod-related topic throughout in real time.
Anyone wishing to take part in the Apple hosting HomePod event can head on over to the HomePod community in the larger Apple Support Communities and sign in / creating an account. To participate, head to the HomePod Community – create an Apple ID, click Post > Discussion in the upper-right corner, and submit a question.
All they have to do then is post a question and hope that the HomePod specialists pick it out and answer it live.
Discover how to make HomePod your own: use AirPlay 2, create a stereo pair, personalize your setup and settings, ask Siri, and more. During this live event, Apple HomePod Specialists will be available to help you get the most from your HomePod.
Apple’s HomePod specialists already monitor the Apple Support Communities, and occasionally answer questions, but this event should head to faster answers, meaning questions could be answered in real time allowing people to get the help they need sooner.
However, this could be a great way of rectifying that without having to call Apple or venture into an Apple Store. We don’t actually know whether this is Apple trialing something that could turn into a regular feature across its entire product range.
Nevertheless, it’ll be interesting to see how this goes that too, live.
