With an increase of the Android Auto available numbers of countries it rolled out in from 11 to 29. Three of them are – Brazil, India, and Russia – among the fastest grwoing auto markets in the planet. Here’s the list of all markets Android Auto has been made available worlwdie: they are Argentina, Austria, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, India, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Russia, Switzerland, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
Android Auto internally allow drivers control music, make or receive voice calls, navigate and respond to text messages, control apps directly through their cars’ screen. Launched it back in 2014, the entire interface inside the Android Auto can be voice controlled and driven to take control over the hardware in order to reignate distraction free driving. Like Apple’s CarPlay, Android Auto offers similar capabilities but in a strictly manner towrads the iOS running iPhone or iPad devices.
Drivers can connect their smartphone to Android Auto and take control of apps from their cars itself. In India particularly, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd has already introduced itself to bring Android Auto technology to its vehicles.
Here’s how to use Android Auto app
First of all, you’ll need a car that supports the Android Auto feature and a smartphone with 5.0 Lollipop or higher. Once you connect your Android mobile to the compatible vihicle or radio, the Android Auto will display applications on the screen. That’s it, from there you can take over your part of being synced and manage your car using its abilities. It is compatible with numerous automobile brands by Audi, Chervolet, Honda, Hyundai, Skoda, Kenwood and Poineer media players.
