Google Maps For iOS Now Works On The Apple Watch – Get It Now!

What uniqueness brought by the Google Maps on your iPhone, now gained by Apple Watch iOS app. With the release of version 4.11.0, Google has added full support for the Apple Watch Maps app. From now onwards you’ll be glad to hear that getting directions on your smartwatch running iOS 9 no longer requires using Apple’s own app.

It was Google’s Nexus event that seen the Google Maps app receive a new update, added some new inclusins and fixes for old ones, most importantly, brings it for Apple Watch. Officially, brings the ability to compare ETAs across different modes of transport and users can now call businesses and get directions right from within a list of locations. making it reflect the company’s new design language and adding features along the way.

Google Maps is obviously a free app and the new Apple Watch update is indeed free as well.
With some undefined bug fixes, but the standout addition here is the new Apple Watch app. Until today, the best way to get directions on your wrist was Apple’s own Maps.
