MixRadio Now Pre-loaded Into Samsung’s Android And Tizen-based Devices

MixRadio teams up with Samsung to pre-load music streaming service in India and the deal signifies advances made will see the former MicRadio on select handsets in the region. The service that already boasts 20 million people to freely experience in India, and the collaboration aims to secure further growth and expansion.

Now that MixRadio is being pre-installed on to the Samsung Z3, unlocking access to over 30 million songs and curated mixes. Thirteen genres of Indian music are supported by the personalized music service, including Bollywood, Tamil and Punjabi.

The MixRadio pre-loaded app for Samsung will only work with Android 4.1 or higher, and Tizen 2.4 or above. The company aims to push forward with more partnership deals in the future.

MixRadio is free of cost music streaming service but it is possible that the service gets a subscription option in future. More details on the deal with Samsung in India can be found in the press release below.
