Spotify has launched a new feature on to its music-streaming services that provides users with a personal DJ which plays professional mixed playlists. It known how important music is when throuwing a party, and those who use Spotify-like music-streaming services may not want to make brand-new playlists, whereas the platform has announced an all-new party mode feature, called Spotify Party.
Started rolling out new playlists based on mood that play nonstop, like DJ set, in its new Spotify Party. Music-streaming platform’s algorithms-based playlists help hosts find the best soundtrack to have streaming for the occasion such as “Holiday Party,” “Electro Party” and “Hip-Hop Takeover.”
Once the Spotify user selects their desired party playlists, they have the left, the songs become more slowed down for a more chilled-out vibe, and if your guests are looking to turn it up, then slide to the right to take things up a notch. While the Spotify Party playlists feature tracks that blend into one another so there’s never a pause when one song ends and the other begins. It’s like essentially having your own DJ mixing on your mobile phone.
Users can also add or remove any songs they wish to the mix while in the new “Play Queue.” Spotify Party also features a special mix up from popular DJ and producer Diplo. This exclusive set features more than 120 curated tracks. Diplo fans know that the music in the part playlists will have you dancing all night long, where users can still use that mood tuner if they really need to catch their breath for a few.
“When it comes to throwing parties you simply have to have the right playlists — or everyone will leave,” Diplo said in a press release. “And while researching and picking out music is fun, it also takes a lot of time and effort. With Spotify Party, you’re served with loads of beat-matched music that transitions perfectly, which you can easily adapt to whatever your current vibe is. Best of all, you don’t have to do any of the legwork.”
These mood-based Spotify playlists sound redolent of Songza, the soon-to-be-turned-off Google Play Music streaming service, which would be the one of the new features Spotify has launched as of late to betterfy stand out. In May 2015, Spotify rolled out mixes based on the tempos or runners, alongside launching music playlits based on listening history in the new feature called Discover Weekly.
You can now download Spotify Party app on your iOS and Android platforms, which is available to users worldwide – starting December 16th, 2015.
