TaiG 2.1.3 Download For iOS 8.3 Jailbreak Release, Fixes UI Cache And Other Issues

Jailbreak iOS 8.4 TaiG 2.1.3 is now available to download. Stll updated for Windows only, TaiG can unteher iOS 8.2, 8.1.3 on iPhones, iPads and iPod touch models. Fixes like when jailbroken using TaiG iOS 8.3 jailbreak encountered an issue where sometimes app icons will disappear randomly, and until now the only way to get rid of was to restore the device back to iOS 8.3 and start it all from the scratch. Now with the TaiG version 2.1.3, you won’t be facing such, as it fixes UI cache and many issues like getting stuck at 20% during jailbreak, app icons disappearing, tool not working on virtual machine, and also adds Cydia 1.1.18 among other things.

Like all previous 2.x versions of TaiG, it supports jailbreak on iPhone 6 Plus, 6, 5s, 5c, 5, 4s, iPad Air 2, 1, iPad 4, 3, 2, iPod touch 5 running iOS 8.3, 8.2 and 8.1.3.

Fix the issue of getting stuck at 20% while jailbreaking.

Update the latest Cydia 1.1.18 and UIKitTools; fix the issue of icon missing after Jailbreak.

Fix long startup time of iPhone 4s after jailbreak.

Fix the issue that TaiG Jailbreak Tool doesn’t work on the virtual machine.

Already jailbroken?

If you have jailbroken your iOS device using TaiG 2.1.2. you don’t need to jailbreak again as an update for v2.1.3 is available for jailbroken devices in Cydia.

To update it, simply add apt.taig.com repository to Cydia, search for TaiG Untether version 2.1.3 package, as shown in the screen-shot below. Update to it as it appears. (Update: The untether package for v2.1.3 is now available on Cydia’s default Telesphoreo repository.) Install it to manually upgrade your iOS device jailbroken using TaiG 2.0.0 or 2.1.2 jailbreak to 2.1.3.

Caution: Point to be noted and that is do not update your firmware version to iOS 8.4 on Tuesday, when Apple releases it alongside its streaming music service, Apple Music. Because, this version is only update and supported on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch running iOS 8.3, 8.2 and 8.1.3. Stay tuned!
