Thinking of the next CES 2015 keynote around the corner, exposure is naturally building around the new year’s flagship announcements. Samsung is although in the spotlight again as the South Korean giant is said to be unveiling its next addition to the extremely successful Galaxy line, announce Galaxy S6. Today it was spotted on Zauba (an Indian import / export tracking website), and the new Galaxy S6 handset also known as “Preject Zero”. No! Not the Google’s “Project Era”.
If its to be believed that the model number for the upcoming device is SM-G920F unit, then it has found its way apparently to India for research, development and evaluation purposes. Good news and supposedly a sort of indication that the smartphone will probably be unveiled at the annual electronics show in early 2015 year.
However the listing itself does not really hold any useful information except the fact that the Galaxy S6 is already on its way imminent to India and what would you expect from a parcel tracking system, which it only got a single test unit. Zauba does also list its price, which goes with international packages and that won’t be related to the actual retail price of the new Samsung smartphone. The entry cites INR 18,938 or in other words around $300 and any educated guess puts the market price of the handset at twice that if nor more than that.
Running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, the Samsung Galaxy S6 specs are expected to have a 5.5-inch 1440 x 2560 pixels display, 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. Samsung also expected to unveil yet another variant in the Galaxy S6 smartphone with an Exynos 7420 chip. Rumors already points that it will be thrown with a curved display as well, but as of now its pretty much unconfirmed though.
We will be going to see a pretty interesting experience at CES 2015 and make yourself free on January 6 and January 9 to consume in the fun.
