New 2017 iPad Pro Models Now Available In Apple Stores

The new 2017 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models were introduced at last week’s Worldwide Developers Conference which has predominantly been about the software announcement. The developer community has been going wild for iOS 11, watchOS 4, and macOS 10.13 High Sierra.


Now that the Apple retail store is filled with the new iPad Pro models which are now available to purchase from around the world right away. The new iPad hardware which we are talking about today were unveiled during the opening keynote of WWDC.


The introduction of Apple’s 10.5-inch iPad Pro was actually one of those highly speculated before the event, but Tim Cook and his executive team didn’t disappoint and took things up to next level with the reveal that there would also be an updated 12.9-inch version of the wonderful iOS-powered slate.

With stock now available at retail locations, in-store pickup for the 10.5 & 12.9-inch iPad Pro has gone live, allowing consumers to check stock at local Apple Stores. For those who didn’t take the opportunity to purchase with a pre-order, and prefer to physically interact with the hardware in-person before buying, it’s now possible to do exactly that through the official retail stores.

Consumers who prefer to shop from the luxury of their own front rooms have been able to pre-order one of the new iPad Pro tablets online immediately. And in case you haven’t ordered one, this time you are able to get it hands on directly from the Apple retail. Also the company began accepting iPad Pro orders just after the WWDC keynote event and with shipping companies estimating a delivery date of June 13, 2017.


Both new versions of the iPad Pro come with significantly improved internals. The two devices feature the new ProMotion display technology offering increased refresh rates of up to 120Hz for fluid, butter-like scrolling of content, smooth motion, responsiveness, along with much more powerful A10X Fusion chips with 30% faster CPU performance and 40 percent faster GPU performance compared to the A9X chip. Interested in buying the new 10.5-inch versions essentially replaces the old 9.7-inch iPad Pro.

Pricing for the 10.5-inch iPad Pro, which comes in Silver, Space Gray, Gold, and Rose Gold, starts at $649. The larger 12.9-inch version starts at $799.
