Airtel has officially announced that it will be offering both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus through its retail stores and online shopping starting today. And also mentioned that it offers iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus owners 10GB of free 4G/3G data per month for one year with any Airtel Infinity postpaid plan. In addition to that plan, users of the hardware will get an additional 120GB 4G or 3G data for one year. Here are the details.
Although Airtel is offering both the Apple’s iPhone 7 range on contract for postpaid customers. Where users of iPhone 7 32GB model have to pay RS. 19,990 as down payment and choose one of the monthly-based Infinity plans.
Such postpaid plans offer unlimited voice calling – local, STD and on national roaming and comes bundled with 4G/3G data, SMS and free subscription to Wynk Music and Wynch Movies altogether. The Airtel Infinity plans goes like these; 1999, 2499 and 2999 with iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus offer 5GB, 10GB and 15GB of free 4G/3G data respectively.

This free data will be above the plans existing benefits and of course, it means that Airtel is offering 120GB of extra 4G/3G data to users through the one year period.
The Apple’s iPhone 7 will start retailing at Rs. 60,000 for the 32GB variant. For the iPhone 7 128GB priced at Rs. 70,000 and the 256GB model goes up costing Rs. 80,000 in India. While the iPhone 7 Plus will cost you around Rs. 72,000 for the 32GB, Rs. 82,000 for the 128GB and finally the 256GB iPhone 7 Plus can be bought at Rs. 92,000.

Regarding the Balloon Payment after the contract, Airtel said:
As part of subscribing to the Plan, you shall be signing up for BFL to finance the device value over and above the Minimum Initial Payment at 0% rate of interest. You need to come back any time during the 13th month to return the device. In case you wish to retain the device, a ‘Balloon Payment’ will be auto-debited from your account by BFL.
Thereafter, BFL will debit the remaining outstanding amount (‘Balloon Payment’) from your account and your contract with Airtel for the Plan will terminate and your loan with BFL will be closed. Customers can now enjoy the latest iPhone on India’s leading mobile broadband network with bundles of data and unlimited voice calling with our Infinity plans.
