In my thoughts the Redmi Note 3 is still the best-selling smartphone from a Chinese manufacturer available under Rs. 9999. Featuring a 5.5-inch fullHD 1080p screen with dedicated Sunlight display and Reading modes. The handset also embedded with Fingerprint scaner, 16MP f/2.0 rear camera with LED flash and PDAF, 5-megapixel selfie camera, supports 4G VoLTE, Infrared sensor and packs a 4000mAh battery (16GB model) and 4,050mAh battery for 32GB storage variant. Under-the-hood, it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 650 processor, paired with 2GB of RAM + 16GB storage and there is a 3GB RAM/32GB Redmi Note 3 variant as well. Both the Redmi Note 3 variants come with Quick Charge support, offers Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11ac and GPS and finally on the software front, it runs MIUI 7 on top of Android Marshmallow.
Launched it India back in March on Mi.com and Amazon.in. With the huge demand online it was since made available only through flash sales. Later the Redmi Note 3 started selling on Flipkart and Snapdeal and via open sale.
