Apple India has officially announced its slashing the prices for select iPhone models in India. Essentially, the 128GB models of iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, and the 64GB model of iPhone SE gets price cut of up to Rs. 22,000. This drops just ahead of Apple’s October 7 launch of iPhone 7 and 7 Plus in the country.
The iPhone 6s (128GB) model now priced at Rs. 60,000, after getting a price cut of Rs. 22,000 from its earlier Rs. 82,000. The iPhone 6s Plus (128GB) is priced at Rs. 70,000, drops from Rs. 92,000 launch price. While the iPhone SE drops its price by Rs. 5000 in the country, so it will be available to buy at Rs. 44,000 for 64GB variant, coming down from Rs. 49,000.
By this we can now manage to grab either iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s at a starting price of Rs. 50,000 and 60,000 respectively, a drop of Rs. 12,000 each compared to their launch price, and can also double the storage at 32GB, versus 16GB last year. Only in 32GB storage and 128 GB storage options from next month will be slated for sale. The price for 16GB model remains unchanged at Rs. 39,000.
