Reliance Jio 4G Public Availability On Invites Begin, LYF Phone Mandatory

Official roll out of Reliance Jio 4G service hasn’t gone live yet to general public, but the launch seems imminent, that too considering that an employee referral program, aka invite system. This move comes directly from the company as it’s looking to make it available by the end of this year.

Reliance has yet to make an unique announcement around this referral program though, its employees have posted on Facebook, recruiting friends with the offer of 10GB free voice and data for the next three months. The Jio 4G program is on an invite-only model, where employees send users a genuine code that needs to be presented at any Reliance Digital or Digital Express Stores over India.

To check the Reliance Jio 4G service, you will however need to get an invite from a Reliance employee, furthermore, also need to have a LYF handset as mandatory, sold by Reliance Digital to use its Jio 4G service. The referral program powered public launch is live now in Andhra Pradesh, MP, Delhi, Bihar, Chattisgarh, Maharashtra and Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkand, Karnataka, Kerala, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Utter Pradesh and West Bengal.

Under this referral scheme, RIL group firm employees will invite 10 of chosen ones to buy Jio 4G SIM and a LYF phone. Interested customers will have to share their Email ID with Reliance employees, since they will receive an invite with an unique code. In order to obtain this offer, users will also need to take a print of this code, go to any aforementioned Reliance stores and buy 4G VoLTE supported LYF handset.

The Jio connection comes bundled with unlimited 4G mobile internet and calls service for 90 days. Invitee should pay Rs 200 to activate such service, and will also get 9000 text-messages, 1500 minutes of HD voice and High Definition Video calling for three months, once purchased. New connections will also get free and unlimited access to Jio apps for that same 3 months, which includes service like Jio Beats, Jio Mags, JioExpressNews, Jio Drive, Jio Security and Jio On-Demand etc.

Notably, the invite for Jio 4G service will valid up to 15 days from that day which you received and cannot be transferred. International Roaming can’t be made or activated on that SIM for the first ninety days of free Jio 4G services. Users will be able to avail the offer by purchasing any Lyf-branded smartphone, which starts at Rs. 5,499.

Reliance Digital is although selling five 4G smartphones under its own LYF branding, including LYF Flame 1 is the entry-level phone priced at Rs 5,499. Next comes LYF Wind 6, which will set you back at Rs. 6,499, and LYF Water 1 costs Rs 14,599. Top-end LFY Water 2 is available at Rs 14,690 and the LYF Earth 1 goes on sale for Rs 19,399 – on its website online.
