After Apple introducing Jet Black iPhone 7 received a huge popularity, Samsung is now prepping the same for Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, by offering its flagship 2016 models in a shiny/glossy black color of its own, according to the new report.
With the recent announcement and launch of the Coral Blue Galaxy S7, Samsung is very much working on a shiny black variant ready to debut some time within the coming weeks.
However the new Coral Blue version of S7 looking gorgeous, conjures memories of the now infamous Galaxy Note 7, which was the first hardware to have such a color in its lineup.
Samsung’s decision in making available of the same color to the Galaxy S7 handsets shows the keenness to be perfect color options to those customers who want to purchase something a little different. Offering those same customers, or potential customers, a shiny black phone akin to Apple’s iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus lusciousness, even if it means the company has to face accusations of copying Apple once more time.
For the unknown, Samsung already has Onyx Black color offering for Galaxy S7 since launch, is more shinier than Apple’s matte black offering, it’s still a no match for Jet Black iPhone 7. Samsung believes that it wants something more brighter than Onyx Black to attract more consumers in light of slowing sales after Note 7 disaster, hence the rumored glossy/shiny Apple’s Jet Black-like offering for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge range.
Samsung is pinning all its hopes on the already popular Galaxy S7 given the removal of the Galaxy Note 7 from the portfolio. The Galaxy S8 is now absolutely expected for a few months at least, and Samsung will seek to give the current Galaxy S7 the honor to compete with the likes of iPhone 7 long term.
