iPhone 8 Renders Based Off Alleged Final Design Surface, Looks Gorgeous

Those unaware about this, Apple has a new iPhone that it has been working on and the rumors surface claiming that it will be announced in the next could of months.

You probably don’t know that it’s going to be an all new design that looks amazing and has no bezels, and much more has also been declared as well. A new report from Japan’s Macotakara says that it will come in different colors, but it will not be available in White. Yes! It also says that it will not ship until Q4 2017, which is between October and December, pointing “initial sale period has a high possibility to be limited.”

iPhone 8 renders leak

But, how about these new renders showing just how awesome this new iPhone will look if indeed any of these rumors turn out to be true? Coming via Forbes and based on information provided to the publication by case maker Nodus – which claims the info is of the phone’s finalized design. These renders do look absolutely stunning and incorporate some of the things that have been slipping in the leaks for months now.

Based on Taiwanese supplier information, it says that the Touch ID will not be present on the side of the phone since there’s no hole present. It was said earlier that Apple will replace (ditching) the Touch ID fingerprint authentication in favor of a new refreshed 3D facial recognition technology. Imagfe shown below confirms the exact replacement or two iris scanner and sensors.

iPhone 8 Iris Sensor leaked

According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who used his Twitter account to confirm that Touch ID will also not be embedded under the display, but rather have highest screen-to-body ratio, Lightning Port will stay there as it was and Apple may add an (USB-C power delivery.” The latest reports however corroborates with previous suggestions of support 3D sensing for facial recognition and shows up the placement of sensors.

Continuing with the speculations and renders, it is still possible that some or even most of them may turn out to be inaccurate, we are going to just ignore all that for a minute and wonder at the new renders.

Design! With an elongated 5.8-inch display and bezels of around 4mm on either side of the display, the iPhone 8 looks gorgeous here. But importantly, Forbes’ renders take into account the lack of Touch ID Home button by moving the sensor to the sleep/wake button on the side of the device. Of all the predictions that have circulated till today, this is perhaps the one we have the least faith in, but again, we equally cannot see Apple moving the sensor to the rear of the device so we will simply have to wait and see on that front.

At the top, is the now telltale cutout that takes the center-top portion of the display to make room for sensors and the FaceTime camera, with the status bar living either side of it. Moving this allows Apple to reduce the space required above the iPhone’s display, and with this rumor having been around for so long and via so many different sources, we can now only assume it is accurate.

New render for iPhone 8 surface

If not believe, as Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 8 this September, and while it is anticipated to be Apple’s most costly iPhone yet, it will likely introduce two more in the form of iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus, likely sell like crazy. If these renders are even closer to being correct, we can certainly see why.
