Samsung has recently announced its next-generation phablet Galaxy Note7 in the United States and India as well. Pre-orders open from August 22nd to 30th of this month. But that is not the case here to consider more on. A newly leaked image on the Chinese-based twitter Sina Weibo seems to have shared the next version Injustice: Gods Among Us themed offering from Samsung.
The images suggest the new phone will come with a design similar to the Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition, complete with a gold Batman logo at the back. That was offered with a bat-symbol engraving, gold batarang, bat-armor case and themed Samsung Gear VR unit. The same looks like here, on their larger, stylus-weilding offering, the Galaxy Note 7.
It is unknown at the moment whether the Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 will also be getting the branding. But the images seem to show the same gold Bat on the rear portion of the hardware and the lock screens showing the customized user interface made to look a lot like you’re using a device designed by Lucius Fox and Bruce Wayne.
It’s a bit identical anyhow, and is just the larger flavor and would likely also come with the same collector’s edition goodies in the mix. The Injustice: Gods Among Us is an immensely popular fighting game set in an alternate version of the DC Comics universe. Batman and some other heroes resist while Superman recruits his own army of both heroes and villains to impose order. The game however includes a mobile spin-off (playable, on the full Samsung Galaxy suite of phones) that continues to be updated with new characters and modes to this day.
While there’s a sequel of Injustice game in development, Injustice 2, now at creator NetherRealm Studios, set for 2017 release.
No official word on the Injustice Galaxy Note 7 has been announced as yet, but it’s likely that if it’s coming to Asia first, will be making it available across the ocean to the States as well. It is also speculated that this variant might offer 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
