This LG’s G6 Smartphone With Rounded Edges Coming February 26

Although this year’s Mobile World Congress may be missing the usual Samsung flagship in Barcelona next month, but no worry, there’s another South Korean company reportedly planning to fill the void now at MWC 2017 event. LG has all set to unveil G6 smartphone on February 26 date, its next flagship Android hardware, and we also have our first look at the upcoming, LG G6.

EXCLUSIVE: LG G6 (2017) LEAKED
Within a month, LG will take the wraps off its next-generation G series flagship. If the rumors and speculations are to be believed, the new LG G6 will bo nothing like its predecessor. While the company already hinted that it’ll introduce the handset at MWC in late February, and revealed that the phone will have a brand new thin bezel and comes with a new type of display.

The G6 smartphone is said to feature a large 5.7-inch display with an usual aspect ratio of 2:1 and an emphasis on minimal bezels. As previously revealed by LG Display, the new phone’s screen-to-bezel ratio is greater than 90-percent, and its bottom though, isn’t shown in the leaked image, which is predicted to only slightly taller than the top bezel. When compared to Xiaomi’s Mi MIX, LG G6 would become a big competitor in terms of specs and design, which also points at Samsung’s Galaxy S8 screen cover that makes it seem like Samsung’s going down a similar path as well. Like the Mi MIX and the rumored S8, the G6 has curved display corners.

The leaked screenshot might now show the LG G6 in its full glory, but the phone is supposed to feature an all-screen design, complete with a larger display and ratio. On the back, the G6 is expected to feature a dual-camera and a fingerprint sensor, just like its predecessor. Not everything from the G5 has been discarded in LG’s 2017 update.

It looks like LG is set to prioritize design this year, with our source indicating that the G6 will be made entirely out of glass and metal and a 3.5mm headphone jack, water and dust resistant as well. Its battery, again however, will no longer be replaceable.
